Itinerary / The Tundra Buggy / Polar Bears International / Wild Polar Bear Adventure
Polar Bear Facts / Important Info / Tour Application / Tour Waiver

Led by polar bear specialists Dr. David Shepherdson (of the Oregon Zoo)
and Dr. Don Moore (of the Wildlife Conservation Society)

Imagine waking up in a warm, cozy bed to see polar bears playing outside your window! Wild Polar Bear Adventure is the chance of a lifetime to experience this amazing spectacle. Once a year scores of polar bears converge on the shores of Hudson Bay, near Churchill, Manitoba, to hunt for seals when the water freezes over.

Oregon Zoo, Polar Bears International and The Tundra Buggy Adventure have secured front row seats to see the polar bears during the peak of the viewing season. This trip provides a rare opportunity to safely watch and photograph polar bears, arctic foxes and snowy owls as very few people ever have the opportunity to do.

The package includes 2 nights in Winnipeg, 1 night in Churchill, 3 nights at the Tundra Buggy Lodge, leaders, round trip airfare Winnipeg/Churchill/Winnipeg, and 13 meals. The total price is $4,500, with a $500 deposit due at time of booking. Final payments are due 90 days prior to departure. A portion of the proceeds goes to benefit the Oregon Zoo Foundation.

The trip takes place October 20-26, 2004. Availability is limited, so reserve your spot quickly. Call (503) 220-5747 or (907) 252-8525 with any questions or to book your reservation.
