Family Camperoo at the Zoo

Saturday, August 7, 5:30 p.m. to Sunday, August 8, 9:00 a.m.

Ride the train to the concert lawn with all your gear. A BBQ dinner begins the evening as you set up camp. Bring sleeping bags and a small tent for your campsite. Discovery centers with live insects and reptiles, games and crafts fill the evening. Guided tours of selected animal exhibits throughout the Zoo are included. Behind-the-scenes tours of the Zoo's hospital and the food preparation/distribution center give you an insider's look. A campfire with songs and stories caps all the nighttime fun. The morning includes a continental picnic breakfast followed by a private visit with the Zoo's Birds of Prey. Advanced registration is required.

Zoo Members: $45 for ages 12 and up, $30 for children ages 3-11.

Non-members: $52 for ages 12 and up, $34 for children ages 3-11.

Children under 2 are free
