Elephantastic is a day long zoo celebration in honor of Portland's favorite pachyderms.  Sing "Happy Birthday" to Packy at his 42nd birthday party, participate in a parade, watch a training session, eat cake, and try your hand at painting. Festivities begin on Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m. and end just before the zoo closes at 4 p.m.
In addition to the pachyderm celebration the "Oregon Steamer," the zoo's steam-powered locomotive will be conducting its first excursion in almost two years.
Elephantastic is free with zoo admission.
