Proceeds from Whiskers A-Go-Go will help bring cougar and bobcat to the Cascade Canyon portion of the Great Northwest exhibit complex. Zoolala is the signature fundraising event for The Oregon Zoo Foundation. The elegant evening of fine dining and entertainment takes place under the stars at the Oregon Zoo. As guests stroll through the Zoo, they will enjoy culinary delights from over 30 of the region's top restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries and coffee hosts. In the four-year history of the event, we have raised more than $510,000 for cutting-edge exhibits and programs at Oregon Zoo. Last year more than 650 guests, a "who's who" of Portland's philanthropic and corporate community, attended. Patron ticket holders start the party at 6:00 p.m. at they enter through Gate E and walk or ride the zoo train to the pre-event patron Party, held in front of the concert stage. From 7-8 p.m., Gate E is opened to all ticket holders, when the restaurants open their booths, wine is uncorked, kegs are tapped and the party begins! The main event starts at 8 p.m. with The Beatniks on the main stage.
