June 26: Giant Pandas: A Journey Into China

Please join us for an enchanting evening of adventure, travel and conservation, as we present the film and photography of education partner GLOBIO, and efforts in China to save the endangered Giant Panda.
This extraordinary journey follows two infant pandas, born last fall, through their first toddling steps in the bamboo forests of Wolong Nature Reserve. This is the first of four panda programs over the next two years following the babies - you won't want to miss a single step of their amazing story.
Arrive early for refreshments and explore a display of digital filming technology being used to create this fascinating project, thanks to generous support by Pro Photo Supply, Nikon and Epson.
$15 general admission, or $10 for members of Oregon Zoo, Portland Chinese Classical Garden or Forest Discovery Center.
Tickets are available in advance at the zoo or any Safeway TicketsWest outlet. Tickets will be available at the door as space allows.
