ZooTeens at Little Zoo

"It's a fun way to spend my summer. I make friends and learn about animals in a cool place, the Zoo!"

ZooTeen Parent

What ZooTeens Do
The Pygmy Goat Kraal gives visitors an animal contact exprience. ZooTeens care for the goats including feeding and cleaning. They also help visitors in and out of the kraal, as well as answer questions about the Zoo's smallest hoofstock. The Little Zoo Contact Area gives to Zoo's youngest visitors a chance to have a personal experience with an animal. ZooTeens help with the care and feeding of these small pettable animals and learn presentation skills as they interact with the public. The Education Program is a fun way to learn about the Zoo and its animals. You may go on behind-the-scenes tour to see where animal keepers work or build an enrichment toy for the animals. Learn hot to share what you know.
